Can we design a society which supports our increasing longevity?

We are in the “Longevity Economy” – Aging/Health Care/Wealth Care.

As a pracademic—someone who bridges academic insight with real-world application—I’m dedicated to helping individuals, caregivers, and communities navigate aging with purpose, resilience, and financial wisdom. My work explores the intersections of longevity, healthcare, technology, and retirement finance, asking: How can we serve an aging society with empathy, innovation, and sustainability? My current focus is rooted in Financial Gerontology—the economics of aging—examining not just how we age well, but how we align our resources with our values and dreams through financial wisdom.

I am:

Passionate about improving the experience over the life course for those age 50 and older within the continuum of care. I’m a seasoned professional specializing in the “Longevity Market” working in the healthcare, higher education sectors, and financial wisdom/literacy as a practitioner/consultant/mentor and academic educator- aka pracademic.

Focused on creating quality of life and flourishing for individuals in the “third-third” or third age of life.

Supporting health care and social service model organizations in growing market share, and designing, innovating, and evaluating novel systems of care and applications of technology.

Educating and advising the public, policy makers, and students through my teaching, writing, and community advisory participation.

Let me know If I can be of help to your organization. Thank you for visiting.
